Allsop's Commercial Auction Team sold 75 lots with a success rate of 88% at their first auction of 2015, held on February 9th at the Berkeley.

9 lots in total achieved prices above £1m, including one which sold for over £3m, with an average lot size of £490,000.

Duncan Moir, Partner and Auctioneer, commented: "The strong start to 2015 was very satisfactory for our clients, with the end of day result being 5% up on last year.

"The demand in the room was palpable, and it was standing room only for much of the auction, which bodes well for the coming months."

The highest selling property of the day was Lot 52, a Wilko's store in Bristol, which raised £1.75m, whilst Lot 45, an HSBC Bank in Bournemouth, sold immediately after the auction for in excess of its £3.8m guide price.

Their next sale will be held on Wednesday 25th March at The Dorchester, London W1.
